Tracing the genetic steps of the McCloud River Rainbow. In the early 1880's an ambitious plan
was developed on the banks of the McCloud River first harvest wild rainbow trout eggs and
then deliver them across the world. We will follow in the footsteps of these pioneers and there progeny
from South America to New Zealand from the backcountry of Australia to the serene countryside of Japan.
